OpenLabs says on their 'comparison chart' web page that neKo/64 can be used under WindowsXP OR Linux. Yet they say only WindowsXP on the front 'home' page for neKo64, ie., http://www.openlabs.com/neko64.php I fired off an email to them asking them if you can indeed use Linux as the OS for neKo. I will let everyone know what they say if and when they reply to my email.
