NewYorker,
This is what I was told by one of the forums junior members. I am wanting to hook up a drum machine to my PSR-550 and what he said was to go under functions to select midi and set the the accomp to "out", and connect the midi out of the PSR to the midi in of the drum machine and I should be able to use the start and stop button on the keyboard to control the drum machine. This sounds like the correct way to do it, but my question is that if you set it up this way what happens to the internal styles on the keyboard..?? If I set accomp to out, and use the start button to trigger the drum machine, will it play the drum machine and the currently selected style on the keyboard?
