I've been married three times, and I loved 'em all.
I will change keyboards as soon as I find something that will do the job as well, mainly because Yamaha misrepresented this keyboard. It is a really good keyboard, but could be absolutely great with just a little work.
I won't, however, go backwards and lose features that I need and enjoy, just for spite.
There are other good companies making keyboards, and the technology is progressing very quickly. I'll check out the new offerings when they are available. I'm quite certain that it will be quite some time before Yamaha has anything new.
I would consider Roland if it had a mic processor, but . . . it's down to Korg, Ketron and Technics, with the edge right now to Ketron. Either SD1 or the new one.
I have become somewhat dependent on the internal speakers for monitors though, so maybe not the SD1. If the Technics still calls for a proprietary hard drive (read expensive!), then they will be eliminated as well.
It's too bad there is no place to try out all the models and make an objective decision.
