Tony,

The PSR-3000 will permit the use of a 128-megabite 3.3-volt Smart Media card, which is about the thickness of a piece of thick paper. It's a great storage device that can stay in the keyboard just like a hard drive and access time is nearly instantaneous.

It can also utilize various storage devices that can be attached to the USB 1.0 port on the back of the keyboard. These include a USB floppy disk, some USB hard drives, USB Thumb Drive, Pen Drive, Jump Drive, and others. It does not use compact flash cards, and similar storage devices unless they are interfaced with a USB to device reader.

You can purchase a Smart Media card for $29 at some sites. A few sites offered 128 meg Lexar Jump Drives for about $39 and 256 meg drives for $49. A 128 megabite drive is equivelent to having 88 floppy disks in additional storage capacity. That is in addition to the keyboard's onboard storage, which is about twice that of your PSR-2100.

Good Luck,

Gary
