Diki,

I have performed outdoor jobs with the Bose L1 (PAS) at locations where people were scattered over an area more than twice the size of a football field. Never had to turn the volume to half in order to cover the venue. As for folks selling their Bose L1 systems, I only know of one of the approximately 20 individuals that I know personally that sold theirs. The others wouldn't part with them at any cost. The only reason Don is considering selling his is so he can update to a lighter weight base unit--not because he doesn't love the sound quality. BTW: The base unit weight 32 pounds--less than my Logitech subwoofer. The only problem both Don and I have is we're getting older and 32 pounds just seems heavier.

Diki, maybe it's time you took the plunge and tried the system at no risk for 45 days. Then come back to us with YOUR appraisal of what the system can and cannot do. Do this with an open mind and use your keyboard, preamp, etc. I sincerely believe you and your audiences will like what you hear.

Gary
