my local dealer in Sydney was complaining about sales a couple of months ago. He said things were quiete. Sells mainly Technics & Yamaha digital piano's & keyboards.

Suppose with so many households already having computers, that soft synths & p.c. software ie sequencers with arranger functions may well be the ttrend in the future.
