I'm really starting to like Cool Edit. I mix the track on my keyboard then shoot it out and record it. Then I use track 2 and 3 for vocals. Record one line of a song on track 2 then the next line on track 3. By switching back and forth I can do multi takes until I like what I have. I feel like a cheater!!!
Anyway, still figuring it out. I didn't lock the track so I accidentally moved it and could never get them lined up again and before you know it I hit a wrong click somewhere and the whole thing disappeared. You have to be real careful when clicking!!! Up to this point it’s been a big learning experience.. I expect my new CD will be ready in about 10 years!
