If you need GS (as opposed to straight GM) then you go for the SC880 or 8050.

Your better bet is the 8050 because of the extra features and polyphony. However the 880 is still great and unfortunately very underrated!!

The JV2080 has GM capability but not GS capability. It's more aimed at the user who doesn't so much need GM or GS but has it thrown in just for convenience' sake. This is Just IMHO. Cheers.
