I had a D70 in 1993, and it has some limitations.
It has only 6 multitimbral parts, 5 for patches and 1 for drum kit.

About the panic button, try to check your midi connection, if the cable or the midi in conector in the keybord are damaged, when you move the devices the notes will not be stop.
