try and play both before you decide. Roland & Yamaha styles sound different.
Try & pick the one with the type of styles that suit you best.

I have a psr1500 & a Ketron SD1+. Even though the Ketron is superior soundwise, I personally find yamaha styles are more suitable for the type of music I like to play..

Roland may suit you better.

Yamaha is due for new lower end models.
