I'm interested too. The PA80 is still a great board to me for good sounding arranger styles and electronic / synth type lead voices, but I think it's rather weak on some of the acoustic lead voices. I thought the PSR 2000 was well ahead of it for the non electric lead voices.
I've incorporated quite a bit of singing and playing "acoustically" in my live act, so the PA80's weakness ( or at least my perception of it ) has become glaring to me. I more than make up for it with the AJ2006 soft arranger and the Motif, but sometimes, especially for quick setups and breakdowns, or at venues where space is at a premium, I'd like to have one arranger that fits most of my needs. Could it be the 3k or it's successor ? Hmmm maybe. Still have to live with less than ideal ( for me ) key response if I go that route.
The other choices would include either version of the Tyros, a PA1x ( but are the lead voices that much better than the PA80 ? ), a G70 or SD1 ( will I ever be to see either of those before I buy ? ).
