For me BIAB really shines for practice learning new tunes on my sax. Type in the chords choose a style and practice.

After I learn the tune I choose the solo feature which is very surprising to learn new licks.

Take a rough passage of chords and loop them over and over until I can hear the changes and play a decent solo. I think these are the two most important features for any horn man.

I wouldn't be without BIAB. It's greatly improved my skills at improvisation. This is where it really shines.

It's really easy to do notation also and to transpose etc. You can read the notation for any instrument on the screen or print it out. It's a fantastic music program.
