I'm just pointing out some facts to ya'll. I told Fran in my first post if he wants a dual manual then the C1 would be the way to go. Although running either the C1 or the XK-3c through a real Leslie would improve things immensely for both of them. But while using just the onboard sim I think the XK-3c sounds a lot better than the C1 does and that being the case (in my opinion of course ) if you have a better sound internally it would carry over to a better sound through the Leslie too I would think.

Okay, here is an example of a guy playing a Nord C1. Pay attention and you will notice that most of his playing is done on the lower manual. When he starts playing the upper manual he does it to get the leslie sim effect but you can essentially to the same thing on the XK-3c with its single manual especially when considering the several split modes that can be utilized on the XK-3c.

Again, I'm not really trying to diss the C1. Two manuals at under 35 lbs is a B3'ers dream come true. What I was trying to do was to clarify some things and Fran can do what he wants.

Which he does anyway by the way...

Best,
Mike
