Yes Steve...they perform the same functions as the up/down buttons...the display will remember the last mixer function you were on when you press Mixing Console again(after you've returned to the main display page)

They also work very well with the organ flutes...not exactly like clicky drawbars, but very smooth and accurate...no wobble, and you can grab a bunch at a time to shape the sound.
