On the gig it seems quiet, usually on the floor behind me, angled up. At home I can hear some noise, but this is true for every amp I have ever plugged in here for some reason.

I was strongly considering the SA300, but opted for only one piece to lug around with the BA. I was curious though, how does the top unit sound by itself. Does it sound pretty decent without the Sub, if you wanted to use it in a small place?
