What determines it for me is, is it worth it to me, new or used, no other criteria needed. The key to maximising one's own profit is not to change keyboards every time a new one appears. Whatever you've currently got very likely has more in it than you'll ever use. That goes for the vast majority of people, especially the ex-home organ players that Yamaha rightly goes after.
