Musicians have to know chord progressions on each song, regardless IF is an arranger keyboard, not just that, the arrangement, how to read a crowd, etc.

I used this example to educate and see the difference:

ANYBODY can learn how to play (use that CD/MP3 player and change songs, cross-fade, etc.) in about 15-20 minutes and perhaps put CDs-MP3s for the next 4 hours.

BUT, I am 100% sure that in 15-20 minutes NO one would learn to play a keyboard (even if it is an arranger), and much less to perform for 4 hours.
