Gary, thank you for taking the time to listen to my recording several times. I appreciate your thoughtful critic. The mixing process is not something I enoy or am very good at. If we ever get around to do a "re-mix", I'll keep your suggestions in mind.


Scott, first I recorded the basic LH accompaniment track on the Tyros 2. Then Cynthia sang her part. We then tracked in one take the piano and sax (at the same time)

I find live drums and percussion very hard to record/mix with the gear I have so I just used the pre-set "bolero-lento" style on the Tyros 2. I just brought up the percussion/ and bass volume to try to get that Audya/live club band sound. I think I muted the piano and pads parts. Thanks for your coments Scott. I hope we can talk when I get back to the States. I'll be in SO CA in early Aug.
