I tested an apple wireless mouse with the iPad and it was a breeze to use via bluetooth.
Garage band work VERY well, even though it's a light version ... hey, it's FIVE dollars. I use iRig midi hardware to access the tones in garage band to play live and there is no lag and great flexibility. With so much at your fingertips, it's a fast work tool. Powers up faster than a laptop, takes less desktop space - can organize, print and email files and docs just like the big boys ..... it's a "post pc" world ahead according to apple R&D, and I agree. I haven't needed my laptop in over a year. I even LIKE typing on the flat screen!
