Chas, keep in mind that I worked for the Washington Post, the Baltimore Sun, York Dispatch and a host of other publications. I saw some of the crap they dished out each day, claiming that if they erred, it was always on the side of protecting the citizens from various everythings in our society, including the possibility of disastrous weather. I just love it when they got in front of a TV camera and talked about dangerous lightning, as if there were some safe lightning somewhere in the universe. People spent fortunes preparing for every damned doomsday that was created and publicized by the media, and each time they were wrong, well you know what I mean. And, yes, we do agree on a lot more than you may think, especially religion, but that stuff goes in the bar, and rightfully so.
