Phrase recording is an interesting idea (not revolutionary but it's application especially in the SD7 can be used to achieve a lot.

* Set up the keyboard to perform PHRASE RECORDING
* Touch RECORD and Play anything between 1-32 measures long.
* Now playback this recording (which can be looped by the SD7),while you play other parts over it ... live. Sync this phrase recording to a style or Midifile and you can see how quickly you can build your music, creating your own phrases that follow you.
