Donny, I will be more than happy to snowbird to Florida as soon as I hit Lotto.

The cost of maintaining two homes is twice the cost of maintaining one. My way of snowbirding is to take my floating home down to the keys and live aboard the boat. Far less expensive than living on land, has all the conveniences of home, but on a significantly smaller scale. As a lady friend of mine put it, living aboard a 33 foot boat is like living in a large ladies closet - about the same square footage.

I can handle it just fine, but Carol, NAH! Anything beyond four or five days living aboard is more than Carol enjoys. Not sure exactly why, though. She spends most of her time in less space at home. Of course, I'm not all that bright, though.

All the best,
Gary
