From my book of wisdom:
We have been given the right to choose what we believe in. This belief is given to others as an opinion. The problem is that people believe their opinions/beliefs are the correct ones; and so we have arguments, anger, and wars.
If I respect another persons opinion; and allow that opinion to be given without criticism, I have the same right to be respected myself. The way we handle this subject tells more about ourselves than the other person.
I am a counselor at my church and a Care Giver for my wife who has incurable cancer--- My wife and I attend a Cancer Support group of about 45 members. It is amazing how ones outlook changes when reality comes. The room is filled with laughter, respect and caring for others.
I try my best to bring love and respect to whatever I am involved in, so if I have offended anyone on this forum with my opinion, I apologize.
