That is indeed a fabulous sound. I probably would have gotten a SV-1 if it had been packaged like the SEVEN - it would be difficult to say which one sounds best. As to the keyboard action, yes, I AM getting VERY used to it. I think playing it for at least two hours a day has helped both my finger strength AND the ('breaking in' of the) keybed. No regrets and no thoughts of returning it. I'd love to get a couple of old 'Rhode' dogs (just made that up smile ) like you and/or Russ to drop in and give it a whirl. I think you'd like it. Only 'old souls' that love that Rhrodes sound need apply smile. For the record, I think the AP on the SV-1 might be a bit better than on the SEVEN.
