I came to a strange conclusion from watching this..
Most of this can be done with a Yamaha Genos to..
When you think of scenes as registration memmories..
And use the channel on/off screen for switching channels on/off (and the multipads)
There is also the registration sequences
You get very close to the same possibilities(no audio guitars, but thats where yamaha has mega/voives)
But the workflow is way way less intuitive on the Genos.
For example using a style with a chordsequence requires some work(you need to use the normal sequencer)
This is where Korg trails...
You still can’t play midi files and play styles at the same time on Korg(atleast i haven’t figured out how)
And there are no convenient registration memmories..
Yet again, it is the convenient interface that makes this launchpad feature unique..
And offcourse there are some indepth features hard to cover on yamaha instruments..
