there are two types of touch screens, capacative and resistive. The type you have makes a difference to how they react. Capacitive screens (like on the Ketron SD9) are much more sensitive to touch, generally brighter and clearer but you can't use gloves (unless they are designed for touch screen use), Resistive screens are cheaper and requires you to press the screen a little rather than just touching it. There are pros and cons for both, but generally the capacitive screens feel much classier and are easier to use. Moving between two screen types can be a bit off putting.
