My first gig with the Bose S1 Pro went really great! I was amazed at how much sound the S1 Pro produces. I ran both channels of the S1 Pro at the 10:00 position and my keyboard volumn also at 10:00 position. I also lowered the Bass and Treble levels of both channels. The pictures show the settings I used. The S1 Pro was on top of a grand piano and tilted back.

During the gig my wife walked around the room and her judgement was the S1 Pro does not have the same sound distribution qualities the the L1 Compact has. She said the sound up front was noticeably louder than the sound at the back. With my L1 Compact there is not much difference. I plan to call Bose tomorrow and ask about this.

The overall sound was very good except for the distribution issue.
I will use it again tomorrow on another gig. One great positive is the weight.
