I played a gig today (regular there) and the crowd was probably 75 - 100 most. I had the QSCs at noon and my mixer at 0 (very high). My keys were pushed to the limit. I was told to keep turning up. That was about as loud as I like to play.

Point is: Fran, I cannot imagine an EA-7 covering that room with its speakers as the source. Need volume, body and air.. can those speakers really compete with 1000 - 2000 watts?
