There is no bright side of this, nasty, insidious, horrendous disease - none, other than it will soon be gone, and with any kind of luck the nation will resume some semblance of normality. All those jobs will likely return, but it will take a lot of time before the NH/senior circuit resumes with indoor, live entertainment. I still keep in touch with several of the ADs and they tell me that they still have not resumed normal visitation, even at the facilities that had NO corona-virus cases or deaths. They are going to be super cautious until they get an all clear from the local health officials and the governor's office on aging.
Since I am fully retired, the covid-19 restrictions had absolutely no effect on my income status whatsoever, other than the stimulus check that came by mail. The money goes into my checking account every month from my retirement plans, and a third of it comes out for the essentials, Wagu Kobe fillet mignon, Jim Bean Honey Bourbon, and home upkeep and maintenance. Unfortunately, this leads to being lazy, and my health problems pretty much eliminated most of my exercise activities. Consequently, between the lack of exercise and some of the medications I consume, my waistline is larger than it has ever been in my life. Damned, I hate diets, but I'm gonna have to do something to get rid of the damned beach-ball that makes it hard to see my toes.

Good luck, guys and gals,
Gary
