Just because something better comes along changes its position not one iota in absolute terms, only in relative terms, and that open to individual opinion. That's progress.

Styles made for 6000 were not playable on 5000 so nothing has changed there either, you were lucky to have a 6 when 6 files were sent out. They were no use to 5000 people either...
