you're probably correct.
Is it the saving as midifile function , that the kn2000 lacked?? The memory's not what it used to be.
I know I used to split up the drum tracks, but it must have been done to alter drum velocities, not notes. I was forever trying all sorts of weird things.

I used Gn Midi recently to revoice one of my old Yamaha Dom30 songs. It's not GM either. I couldn't have done it without being able to split up the drum track.
