Hi Tony. I agree that switching styles that are 'internal'to the KB, on both the KN & PSR keyboards, is instant. I was referring to loading styles from 'floppy disk'.

On Technics KN boards, when loading styles from a floppy, there is a delay (4+ seconds) while the file loads. On the other hand, styles loaded via floppy on Yamaha PSR keyboards are basically instant (direct play). There is no interruption of the previous style played, and the new style automatically plays starting (synchronized) at the beginning of the next bar.
