Squeak , check it out first..The key feel is better on the Axiom, and it is at the top of most referrals..

BTW: you know I am a Roland fan, but the track record of earlier Edirol controllers is poor..they were designed for computer home use...until this PCR800 model[I am sure it is great]...The Axiom is in this class...made for performing musicians and not just home computer novice[no offense to anyone..just fact]..

The Axiom has more control than the PCR800, and designated software to set it up[Enigma]..You won't go wrong with either of them...but don't base the decision on history of earlier models..

On the downside, or upside..however you look at...It is much more pleasure to play a real arranger as the G70...but for my band use..this Axiom may just be the ticket...especially those two flights of stair case jobs..
