Hi,

I was away from my computer for a while, so I hadn't seen the great work of Jacky-D and Scottyee to let us download the Piens demos. Thanks, guys !

But I could only download M. Voncken's demo through rapidshare.

I don't have Newsleechers. Jacky, could you upload P. Baartmans's demo the same way that you did for M. Voncken's

If not, what is the procedure ?

Thanks,

Bruno

Anyone into hearing some nice swingy and jazzy songs from Peter Baartmans, I stroungly recommend seeing the videos of the CVP and CLP digital pianos. He sure knows how to pack a punch out of them!

JackyD I don't have any current Internet Direct Connection. Not really a pity, however, as I download most songs in midi format from Internet and transfer to PSR via MusicSoft Downloader (available for free download from Yamaha's website).

Btw I'm planning to check out the T2 at my local Yamaha dealer tomorrow can't wait to get my hands on it hehe and i really hope he's got a foot controller plugged into it as i want to check out its super articulation voices sooo badly!!

Just take a foot pedal along with you, just in case there is not one attached.

Had to cancel the appoinment with T2

Hope I can go someday next week

I have to admit that those 2 videos at piens.com really inspired me into learning new techniques to play instruments - the organs section particularly, and also a lot of wind instruments and guitars and a big thank you goes to all of you who made the links and videos available online

Sincerely
jxuereb

Thanks once again to Jacky-D for Peter Baartmans's demo !

(BTW : what is the difference between the 3 files ?)

Many of us have been impressed / inspired by these videos.

Unfortunately we don't have the midifiles, which would have been great..

Maybe top talented members could try to play some of the songs and upload midifiles (not note for note transcriptions, but general ideas on how to play the demos ).

What do you think ?

It is a good idea but it has a drawback:

Most of Peter Baartmans' and Michel Voncken's songs use styles that are exclusively in T2 only, which means that a simple song will take a lot of time to play as MIDI as drum patterns and phrases have to be recorded manually. Remember that the big showcase of T2 is the huge style repertoire, and obviously in the demo these new styles will be played to give an idea of their quality.

Still a good idea, and spending some time with the songs is worth it - i simply get inspired to learn those songs just by hearing the T2 demos of them (and that includes oldies back to 50 and 60s)

I will upload some songs asap (i have voncken's musette in particular even if it may sound a bit different).
