So what's the bargain....there's no price listed. What's a bargain to you may not be to me.

Right, wonder how 'LOW' Uncle Dave will go on his so called 'mute' keyboard with the too small toyish keys, especially since he also stated that he thought the Tyros more fitting to be carried at Toys R Us.

Read the post ..... you tell ME what it's worth. You already know I don't like it.
BTW - Toys R Us wouldn't trake a trade on a PS2. Damn ......

I'm beginning to think that a good synth and a drum machine would be just as good as an arranger. Anyone agree?

cassp: Huh? Sorry, I don't agree with you. While a synth, along with drum machine, can make a good performance pair, especially when configuring & playing the kb in split mode (with bass in LH and playing comping chords/fills/melody in RH, and of which I occasionally like to play in this style myself), even the best synth and a drum machine together, cannot match what is the 'primary' feature of an 'auto accompaniment' arranger: 'full' instrumental auto-accompaniment (bass, drums, keyboard, + other backing instruments). Only a true arranger keyboard will provide, while played live, a 'complete' rhythm section backing arrangement. - Scott
