Mario Lanza recorded a song titled Serenade on the LP "The Student Prince-The Desert Song". I have an mp3 copy (3.6MB) and can email if you wish. Please let me know.

Our love is the serenade
A song the heavens made and angels played

We touched and I became devine my love

Their mine my love

Serenade
Our love is the serenade
A song of sweet desire
No ordinary choir could quite resist
I have known the magic of
A theme that cannot take
Our serenade of love.

All my research tells me THIS IS THE ONE. I even think I heard a sound clip of it on one site, but I can't find a full audio version or any type of music for it. A lead sheet would be great. HELP!!!

Tony ... this link goes to a site where the sheet music can be D/L ...
http://www.freehandmusic.com/ProductDetail.aspx?PRODID=112042

The site shows that song is from the movie "The Student Prince" and Mario Lanza did the lead male vocals which were lip-synched by the male lead in the movie ...

Granted, I do not recall the song (although I do remember seeing the movie), so I am taking the web sites word for it ... the lyric and music credits are different from Cass' ...

Thanks all for your dedicated help. Our good friend Cousin Ken frfom Australia sent me an mp3 of the version I'm looking for this morning. Now all I need is a lead sheet or something. Otherwise, I'll see what i can glean from the recording.

OK, now does anyone want to help me find Patsy Cline's - If I Could See the World? It came out in 1958, but never made the top charts.

Was the link I posted for the sheet music not the right song?

Sorry Tony, but that is the Student Prince version. Mine has lyrics by Sammy Cahn, music by Nicholas Brodsky.
