I am trying to buy a case for my X1. I tried the SKB's they are not deep enough. Tried the KKC 76 Key (it was short by half an inch). I tried a softcase 76 Key, it was way too big. I am tired of going back and forth to the store. Does anyone know of a good fit for the X1 (a little too big is ok too).

I would rather keep it under a $100 if possible...

The Kaces Keboard porter #9 should fit nicely, and I had a Levy's bag that was a perfect fit as well ...... just get the measurments and hit the store. Betyter yet - bring the X1 with you, and try it out. The Levy's bag that Don Mason has will fit it. Maybe he can find a model number on the bag for you.

On a lighter note gang - things are lightening up, just a bit at home - thanx again for all the wonderful comments and support in a very difficult time. My free time is still at a premium, but I do manage to check in at least every other day ..... even if it's just to do a "quick read". Take care everyone.

I bought mine from the folks in Nyack (Bell-Solton). It's a perfect fit for the X1; only, it needed a little reinforcement to protect the edges from ripping, so I went to Home Depot and got 6ft Aluminum angle strips and cut them to size and bolted them to the edges of the case. Now I've got a "fortress" built around my X1. I just don't know if they still carry them since it's been two years. Hope it helps.
