Please help, everytime I go into the 16-track sequencer the instruments and sounds sound muted and not as clear as when I exit. Why is this so? Karma

There are (2) different ways to sequence. I don't have my board anymore but start with the main sequencing screen and lay down the first track. You will note that there is NO difference in FX, volume, etc. When you try to lay the first track by going to the full sequencer page (all tracks dislayed), the sounds are different. Also, contact Roland's help line and they will walk you through it.
