Tyron,

Nice job..

I like the Herb Albertesque rendition of "All My Loving" {Brass harmony}

Ipanema.. was a bit slow for my taste but played very feelingfull.

Thanx for sharing

Tyron: I Enjoyed both your Tyros keyboard renditions 'very much', both polished yet spontaneous & fresh. Terrific melodic phrasing & soloing on both tunes. I love the sensual tempo you chose for 'Girl from Ipanema'. Look forward to hearing more from you. - Scott

Hello Tyron,

Great stuff, sounds wonderful.

Can you tell us a little more about your setup? Tyros into what, recorded with what, etc.

Thanks.

Thanks for such a quick response guys. I'm relieved I can at least share some files at last. Thank you also for the encouraging words, it's been a while since I have played, but I'm really looking forward to getting back into it.
In terms of my home studio setup, I put the Tyros through a fairly old Studiomaster mixer, and record to PC using Cool Edt in this case. I use a Sound Blaster Audigy sound card. I've found the signal to noise excellent on that (and it's cheap). When doing pure audio recording I always mute the cd and midi on the PC mixer as well. This almost always results in a clearer sound due to less cross over internal noise.
The other point is I'm finally getting somewhere on my download problem. A techie friend is coming to visit tomorrow and he's confident it's a browser setting (as Terry suggested). Thanks again, this interaction we have means an awful lot to me.

Ron,
I like the creativity you show in "All my loving"; it's an overall pleasing arrangement.
In Ipanema I like a lot the solo you take: sounds like a layer of flute and violin: is that possible (the violin, I mean)?

Hi Andrea,
The middle 8 is actual mute trumpet and flute in Ipanema.
The arrangement of All my lovin was thanks to Herb Alpert. I remember it from when I played in a band about 30 years ago (Hammond H then - huge thing!).

Hi Tyron,

Both sound great. Obviously, you're having lots of fun with the Tyros--or at least it sounds that way.

Cheers,

Gary

Tyron:
Excellent on both songs, enjoyed the beatles' tune a great deal, you truly have dicovered the Tyros and it's limitless capabilities, I was tapping my feet as I listended. Same goes for Ipanema, you really captured the cadence of the song.
I can see an album in the near future, please let us hear some more of that great stuff.
Regards,
Mario

Tyron

Both tunes are VERY cool. Nice easy listening and very well executed. I liked Ipanema better of the two, only because I'm a latin bossa sort. The sax was excellent in technique and totally believable as a live player. Nice twist on All My Loving and in the Herb Ellis, Hugh Masequela felling.

I liked them both very much good renditions, recording and mix......Two thumbs up!
