The Tyros demo is excellent. The Brass on the Tyros really shines. Notice if you will that Michel is playing in Split mode with his Left hand using "Single Finger" chord recognition mode. In doing that he is able to manipulate the Pitch Bend and Modulation wheels with significant ease while his right hand vigorously plays the lead notes, melody and occasional right hand chordings. To be truthful I usually play my PSR 2000 in Full Keyboard Chord recognition mode and only have dabbled in Single Finger Mode on just rare occasions. But honestly the "flow" of the music is improved significantly when playing in Split Mode using the Single Finger chord recognition on the Left voicings while doing the lead with the right hand. I betcha a plate of Crawdads that DonM uses this same method when doing much of his Country tunes. And that that is Don's secret to his Keyboard Voice changings and using Breaks and Fill Ins and the Pitch Bend so quickly and natural sounding. I know that Michel Vonckens demonstration on the Tyros has compelled me to start exploring and using "Single Finger" Chord recognition mode more while playing in Split Mode. Michel makes it look so easy.

hey Eric! Great to see your post. Finally got a chance to checkout Michel's terrific Tyros demo. I only wish I understood German so I could better appreciate (understand) his Vocal Harmony Workshop presentation: http://www.vonckenfan.de/html/vh-workshop.html
Looking forward to another fun music together with you and Claudia, Paul and Evelina, and Andrea Rotolo, in September.
