Hi VA 7 lovers,
this is to let you know that on the Roland site of Italy there is a collection of brand new styles, ranging from Bajon and Beguine to Swing, Tango and Valzer. The title of the collection is "Italian folk styles", but I think that "Ballroom styles" would be more appropriate.
Here is the link: http://www.roland.it/download_arranger.htm
Hope you all enjoy!
Andrea

O.k., the inevitable question... will they play in any other Roland keyboards? Can they be converted with EMC?

Hi Tom,
I don't think they will play in other Roland keyboards because the sound map (drums included) is exclusive of the VA7 and I don't think that the current version of EMC Styleworks supports this board.
Anyway, the styles are very good and useful because they are not too complicated and, for that reason, not easily recognizable.
So I advice all VA7 owners to download them (got it, Sander?)
Best regards to all,
Andrea

Tom,
the EMC had no problem to convert these, and
they're readed as both G800/1000 and
EM2000.

Btw, nice styles

Hi Bevan,
yes, I too thought that "Ballroom styles" would have been more appropriate. Maybe they were programmed by italian musicians and the term "Folk" refers to the fact that these are the styles judged more suitable to make people dance (at least here in Italy).

Thank you Andrea,
The styles converted beautifully to the Technics KN6000.
