I just have a soft spot in my heart for Peavey gear. I managed a store when I was in High Scool and we were on of Hartley's first major accounts in the Philly area. I watched that company grow from home made amps that were assembled in his basement to becomming the largest enterprise in Mississipi ... ahead of BOEING! It's a great product at a great price,and while it may not be the absolute top of the heap ..... it sure is reliable gear that I would play ANYwhere.
They also make some terrific guitars and basses. Good luck with your new amp !
