Synthzone friends! Ok, I Just recorded another song (on my Tyros2) today. This one's a Latin tune, so I'd like to dedicate this to Synthzone's "Brazilian Jazz" player specialist's: Andrea Rotolo (Dreamer), Armando Ricardi (SD_Fan), ChicoBrasil (Chico Albuquerque), and Dirk Baert (Notlos). Song Title: Corcovado (Quiet Nights) Composed by: Antonio Carlos Jobim I performed it in arranger mode, utilizing Tyros2's internal style: Pop Bossa2. To listen, go to my website: Scott Yee Entertainment then: Go to the: "Song Demos" Page. Scroll DOWN to: "Latin" Song Category (bottom right) Go to: "Corcovado", then Select: 'DSL/Cable' or '56K' version, to play in Windows Media Audio (WMA) format. Hope you like it. Scott

Scott, I am moved by your dedication. The song is really very, very enjoyable. I have currently the original CD with Corcovado in my car and play this song all the time, and your rendition really reminds me of the way Astrud Gilberto "handles" this song. Your guitar solo was excellent, as was the piano bit. I am let with the desire to listen to this song more and more. Bravo!

Donny, Eric, Andrea, Armando, Jim, Dennis, and Cajun100: Many THANKS for such nice words of support. Originally posted by Dreamer: your rendition really reminds me of the way Astrud Gilberto "handles" this song. Wow ! Assuming you're refering to the classic album: "Getz & Gilberto": I'm humbled to think I even remotely approach Gilberto's legendary rendition: Corcovado - Astrud Gilberto (Song Clip) , Andrea, I really appreciate the compliment, particularly coming from you, SZ's most respected Bossa Nova arranger player. Btw, I really enjoyed our Skype telephone-webcam chat today. It's so nice to keep up a life long friendship with people (such as Andrea Rotolo) who I met on Synthzone over 5 years ago. Synthzone is a terrific catalyst for meeting & forming life long arranger kb musician friendships. Ok gang, my next Tyros2 performed song is going to be a Van Morrison composed tune. Can you guess which one? (no, not 'Moondance' or 'Brown Eyed Girl'). - Scott [This message has been edited by Scottyee (edited 05-25-2006).]
