I'm not talking about "normal" volume, like ambient or acoustic music... I'm talking about a loud level(not disco, dance, hardcore or house music!!!)... music like Latin (dancing) music, Gipsy kings music, Rock&Roll music, but at a loud volume... I have a Yamaha CP2000 Amp(2x450w) and 2 JBL TR125(250w each) and I can fill a medium room with about 100-200 people...
I love my speakers because of the voice definition. It's really natural.

Are the Mackies good speakers when playing vocals?

What about the Mackies playing music when all the people are dancing, on a weeding, and the music needs to be loud, like I asked before?... Can they handle the job?

and how do you consider the "low end" of the srm's since they're only 12", and since I don't intend to use a subwofer?(my JBL are 15" and I don't use a subwoofer)

Thanks in advance.

Luis Santos

Sorry Luis, I did not realize the questions were for me.

BUT :
The SRM's sound excellent for keyboard, vocals, on wedding parties, dancing crowds and have real 'low end' .... much more than the EON's 15" have !!

We never used the maximum volume-position, but the pressure is imPRESSive.

Hope this is what you expected to hear ? (did I answer you Q's ?)

Roel

Don't worry, you won't be disappointed.
