I spotted the item at Fry's electronics and they will do price match. It has to be a retail store and it's ok if it also has online store. I just print out the price and Fry's will price match.

What's the best price you guys found ? And which store ? Thanks

To my knowledge, Amazon is not what he's looking for as it is online only.

Amazon won't cut it as it is online store only. Fry's price is $149 or thereabout.

I saw guys here found them online for like $60 after rebate which is fantastic.

Han, one advantage of purchasing online over Fry's is they often (if located out of state) don't charge sales tax. A number of online retailers also don't charge shipping for purchases over $99. If I need it RIGHT NOW, I'll drive over to Frys, but if I can wait, I usually find online stores cheaper, that is other than those Frys currently featured discounted items which are truly UNBEATABLE! I have to admit I LOVE searching for bargains at Frys. - Scott

I paid $57 total after rebate from Amazon.com - no tax or shipping. I think the price went up to $59 a few days later.

I've heard many comments now on other forums that these speakers and other similar computer speakers require a 10 hour "break-in" period before they sound like they should. I haven't had time to break my Z-2200's in yet if that's the case, and if such a thing really makes a difference. Does anyone else think their Z-2200's sound better after they've been used a while? I still think these things have muddy and nearly ucontrollable amounts of bass.

Hi,
My father has just bought these speakers for his Kn7000 for home use.I told him after reading about the reviews here on synthzone that they would sound good.

Today he has phoned me to tell me he will be taking them back to the shop in the morning.
For the same reason the Pro has commented on.The Bass is far to overwhelming and there is no way of reducing the bass to a satisfactory level.

Regards
Daz

There IS a lot of bass response on the Logitechs, but I've had no problems at all adjusting them. Many people may have the internal e.q. on their keyboard or mixer set to boost the low end. It's not necessary with the Logitechs. I've had nothing but great comments about the sound when I use them.
