Thats a lot of info guys! It all sounds very good, but I think my best option is to learn how to edit the voices myself, I'm sure this sort of problem will come up in the future again!

Seems like a good plan yis1559. I've been using the beef-up procedure I described in the above link for some time but even so I was surprised at the degree of improvement it gave to the Sweet Violin in Ty2.
