I am working on a serious piece for studio and after I finished it completely, I found out to my dismay that I made a big mistake; I missed entered into the chorus incorrectly: one beat ahead.

Now how Can I correct this without repeating the whole thing?

If it was one measure, I would have inserted one measure very easily.. but it is one beat that needs to be inserted only on some of the tracks..

any ideas or suggestions?

thanks

If you have a dedicated sequencer, you should be able to edit the tracks that need to be corrected, look for the parameter "GATE TIME", and make your adjustments[only the measure that will correct your track]....Fran

Fran,

Thanks for the reply, would that allow me to insert a beat and push all notes ahead?

In other words, if I have a measure that contains 4 notes, each note one beat, when I insert a beat, the first note will be pushed to the second beat, while the fourth note will be the first beat of the second measure.

Is that possible?

SK880user, That is correct. You can also use the parameter track insert. This allows you to make an existing track longer by adding rests at the specified position. This will make room for new data and shift data that lie behind the position further to the right...Fran
