Considering the fact that there is no one perfect kb that's going to satisfy all of us for price, sounds, styles, etc., does anyone think the day may come when the manufacturers sell us a box with a keyboard, buttons, screen, and speakers, and then provide the options for sounds, styles, etc. via download .... we could each then have the kb WE want at the price WE want to pay...

I don't believe it will ever happen, because then they couldn't bring out a "new" model every year.

I had thought about that as well, but felt that they could then concentrate on new stuff for the 'insides', better sounds, improved OS, and every couple of years come out with a new 'box' to satisfy those of us who have to see something new everyonce in a while ... I don't think we will ever see it, but it's not a bad thing to think about is it? ....
