Murphy's law

murphy hasn't affected me yet..been kb gigging 7 years, worst that happens is some scratches on end pieces when using hand truck if i neglect to put a cloth in between. one tends to be a lot more careful when there is no case. the most dangerous way to go is a soft case..found that out to my chagrin w/soft sax cases years ago. you get false sense of security. even in a hard case, if it falls, there is the damage possible inside the equipment itself, from the abrupt stop. when you've got the naked object, you know where to touch and not touch, and you are always super-careful.
