This product appears to be similar to BIAB, rather than the arranger keyboard, which provides real-time chord recognition.

If this function is present, it is not highlighted on their web site.

Yes, this is next generation of BIAB-like programs.

It can be used to prepare quality styles for (hardware) autoarrangers -- it has built-in rendering engine (so called "MIDI enhancer" from NTONYX, Novosibirsk, Russia).

Another programs with music rendering develops at www.musiclab.com (from Rostov-on-Don, Russia).

You can use such a programs to compose your own "quasi-live" styles more quickly than with sequencer use only.

Actually, the GUI on this program looks much better/nicer than BIAB. I'll download the demo version and check it out.

The program seems to be out for a while since they are on version 2.1 already. Never heard of it before until now though ... anyone using it??

The Sound Studio Pro II have also
a "inbuildt" software
arrangerkeyboard and styles, as well as it is a editor.
I'm not any expert on this, but it's fun to explore.
Works nice connected with a midikeyboard.

Wow I'd have to get younger and go to college to figure out what all those buttons are for.

I still don't know everything about my dinosaur i30 with the best sequence in the universe on board.

I can sequence a tune with a style before you guys can boot up your sonar software. Ha! Ha! Wanna bet? Naw! Save your money!!

XGworks has an auto arranger and a style generator. Not as elaborate as Onyx but it's also a powerful sequencer and XG editor - a must for Yamaha arranger keyboards. And you can load styles from your keyboard.
